Hello, friends!
Have you heard that Stampin’ Up! has launched a Product of the Month promotion, with a new product each month? For February, you can choose the gorgeous Painted Illusions Designer Series Paper. It is $5 with your $100 retail order.
Have a look at my project featuring this amazing paper!

Now I love patterned paper! I also love #loveitchopit because it encourages me to use the lovely paper rather than hoarding it. #loveitchopit was created by an Australian demonstrator, Kylie Bertucci, where you chop your 12 x 12 DSP into 4 x 6 panels, making it easier to use.
I used a stack & shuffle technique to create 4 lovely cards because why make 1 card when you can make 4? I started with 4 pieces of 4 ” x 5″ patterned paper, one of each design. I selected 4 card bases in coordinating colours: Darling Duckling, Flirty Flamingo, Pretty Peacock, and Granny Apple Green. I added the Banner Sayings bundle, Misty Moon;ight in, and Basic White cardstock for mats and sentiments.

First, I cut my DSP to 3 3/4″ x 5″. saving the 1/2″ x 5″ strip for the inside of the card. Stacking the pieces together, I cut them into 4 sections. By shuffling the resulting pieces, we can quickly produce multiple cards. I adhered each group to a Basic White mat. You can use the other side of the DSP if you want.

Each panel is added to a coordinating card base. You can switch between landscape and portrait layouts.

I brought in Vellum and Basic White Petal of Beauty die-cuts. Then stamped 4 Banner Sayings sentiments in Misty Moonlight ink on Basic White scraps, punched with the coordinating Banner Sayings punch.

Remember to add bling with the Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels!

And you have created 4 fantastic cards to send to friends and family.

I love each one! Do you have a favourite?
Let’s see what everyone else has created!

These are gorgeous Bonnie. I love the vellum layers.
And for the record, my favourite is the third one because of the way the colours interact.
