Did you see yesterday’s post where I mentioned that I made 7 each of these cards? Well, I did. And thus, I needed another way to add color to my card without giving me writer’s cramp from coloring.
Let’s play with an old favorite – emboss resist. Emboss Resist is when you emboss the image in clear or white embossing powder and use sponges to add ink. The embossed areas resist the ink and poof! There is color!
I used Daffodil Delight, Poppy Parade and Melon Mambo inks and applied them with Sponge Daubers. The daubers are smaller than the sponges and work better for smaller areas.
(BTW, I realized that this photo is somewhat off-kilter. Oh well. )
