Hello!
This is a different post from what I usually post. It will be photo-heavy as I show you the steps for creating this Celebration Tidings treat bag. I chose an autumn theme, but with all the options in the Celebration Tidings stamp set, you can create treat bags for many different occasions.
Chose your piece of Designer Series paper from the Plaid Tidings DSP.
Using the Celebration Labels dies, cut out the size that will fit your treat bag. I chose the 3rd largest one to go with the Mosaic Gusseted Cellophane Bags. I then cut out the smallest die in Very Vanilla. (Look at my lovely new Cut & Emboss machine!)
I folded the DSP die cut in half length wise and the Very Vanilla die cut in half width wise, just for added interest.
Taking my colors from the DSP I chose, I stamped the greeting in Momento Black and the floral image in Cinnamon Cider. I wanted a lighter tone for the floral image, so I stamped off once before stamping onto the Very Vanilla.
I lightly closed the cellophane bag with a couple of glue dots. (I do not want to make it too hard to get into the yummy treats!) To add the DSP topper, I used Stampin’ SEAL+ since it is a stronger adhesive.
I added Embroidered Ribbon to the topper with Stampin’ SEAL+ use holding the two ends onto the paper. No bow-tying! The Very Vanilla tag will cover the seam, so I put the seam in the front.
Use Stampin’ SEAL+ to adhere the Very Vanilla tag to the front and back and add a faux bow to complete the look.
