Have you ever had that card that did not turn out as you thought it would? Yup. This is one of those cards for me. It just didn’t turn out how I pictured it would in my mind.
It started out as a one-layer card, with the greeting embossed in white embossing powder.
I then added Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, and Real Red with my sponge daubers. And then I did not like it. (Next time I will try it with Shimmery White paper.)
Instead of throwing it in the bin, I decided to add to it. What did I have to lose?
I added dots with the sponge daubers, and you know what? It kinda looked better. Still not terrific but definitely better.
I look my Crushed Curry Stampin’ Write Marker and used the lid to flick ink onto the card. Again — better. It needed some sparkle. Wink of Stella to the rescue and I flicked some of that on there too.
And I ended up with a card that is definitely not one of my regular cards. But I like it. And sometimes it is just good to play around and see what comes from it.
