Hello!
Today is Remembrance Day in Canada. The day we pause to think of all the service members who fought and died. Lest we forget. I find it interesting that this is the card scheduled today. I originally planned on posting it yesterday but changed my mind at the last minute. “Peace on Earth.” Lest we forget.
To create this card, you require 6 pieces of patterned paper: 4 1/2″ x 1 1/2″, 4 X 1 1/2″, 2 of 3″ x 1 1/2″, and 2 of 2 1/2″. Then you cut them all in half on the diagonal. Play around with placing all those triangles on a 3 3/4″ x 5″ card stock mat.
You will end up with something like this (and question if you are really doing this correctly)
(While I was creating this card, my friend was also creating a version. We were both questioning if this was going to turn out or not. Hence the poor photo to document this moment.)
Power through it! Adhere everything down and trim all the edges.
Add your die-cut and greeting over the messy-middle, and voila! A lovely card that no one will know what is underneath unless they are reading my blog.
Below are the links to the supplies used to create this card. They will take you to my online shop. When you purchase after you click on the link, I do earn a small commission as your demonstrator. I truly appreciate you choosing me as your demonstrator. Please let me know if you have any questions.
