Hello!
Stampin’ Up! offers a fabulous advent calendar project kit and everyone is inspired to make a version with the Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper. I did a FB Live video today, walking you through some of the steps to cut your paper to fit on the advent calendar. You can watch that video here.
The advent calendar needs 25 – 2″ x 2″ squares which means you will not use the entire 12″ x 12″ page. I decided which part of the paper I wanted to include. You could have more mountains or more land if you want. Here is how I trimmed my DSP. Then you cut your piece into 2″ x 2″ squares, making sure you keep them in order.

In the video, I demonstrated how to a 1″ punch to make the notches. I also talked about how you can make this double-sided with the project kit contents and it would reveal the winter scene as the month progressed.
I first randomly laid out the project pieces on the squares. I figured that it was easier to do that and then pull out the boxes to adhere them on as I went. I did one at a time, adhering the piece, then putting the box in the cubby to keep them in order.

Once the pieces were attached, I could randomly layout the included numbers. Then decorate with all the kit supplies.

Ta-Da!

Now as I eat my chocolates through the month of December, I will slowly reveal the winter scene.
One last note, I want you to join my Super Stamp Monthly club. Really! It is a great class. (Did you know that when you attend 6 months consecutively, I will reward you with a $20 product credit. You could even use it on Host Sets.)
If you love this suite and live in Canada, I want to tell you about November’s Super Stamp Monthly. You receive the patterned paper, ribbon, and bling plus 5 Make & Takes and membership to an exclusive FB group. Please send me a message if you are interested. I would love to see you there.
